Password reset procedure:
Request:
The user will request a password reset through a ticket, email, or via their manager.
Guide the user to portal
Guide the user to try performing password reset through the portal https://firsttech.firstsource.com/. If there are any issues in performing password reset through the portal, inform the shift lead along with the error message. And proceed with the below steps for password reset.
Verification: Verify the user’s identity. Obtain the user’s contact number and ask verification questions, such as the “date of joining.” Once verified, reset the password and share it only via phone.
DO’S:
- Obtain the user's phone number from their team lead or manager, or email the user to get the number for verification before proceeding.
- Provide the password only via phone.
DON’TS:
- Do not confirm the password to the user through chat or email.
- Do not share the password with the user’s team lead or manager through chat or email for security reasons.
- Do not share the password with anyone other than the user.
Note: If the user is raising the password reset request, the password must be shared only with them.
How to reset the password in ISAM:
Access the ISAM URL:
Navigate the below URL:
https://isam.firstsource.com/ISAMV6_Prod/login.aspx
Use your respective username and password to log in to CADOMAIN, as demonstrated in the example below:

Utilities:
Access Employee Details:
- Under the Utilities section, click on View Employee Details.
- Enter the Employee Name and click Submit.
View Employee Information:
The following screen will be displayed, with certain fields such as Entity No, Employee Name, Windows Login ID, Display Name, and Email ID hidden for security reasons.
Verification:
- Verify the Date of Joining displayed on this screen.

Enterprise Operations:
Access Password Reset Option:
Under the Enterprise Operations section, select Reset User Domain Password.

Fill in the Required Details:
Domain Name: Select CADOMAIN.LOCAL.
Win2K Login ID: Enter the user's login ID (e.g., gowthaman).
New Password: Set a new password (e.g., Summer$12345). You may use a simple yet secure password for initial setup. Make sure to set a temporary password by selecting the ‘change password at next logon’ check box, so that the users can change it from their end.
IMS Ticket Number: Enter the ticket number associated with the request (e.g., #SR-12345).

Confirmation:
Click on Submit once you have filled all the required information, click on submit.
The system will prompt for confirmation. Click OK to proceed.
